Information COVID-19

Travellers from countries with low incidence rates will no longer need to self-isolate. Anybody entering Austria has to show any one of these three documents (in either English or German) :

"Negative COVID Test":
You need to show a PCR test no older than 72 hours OR an antigen test no older than 48 hours. Tests need to be issued by a medical authority; self-tests are not valid. From July 1st, the obligation to have a proof only applies to persons aged 12 and over.

"Vaccine Certificate": Proof of vaccination is considered to be:
  • Second vaccination, whereby this may not be older than 360 days (instead of 270) and at least 14 days must have elapsed between the first and second vaccination or
  • Vaccination from the 22nd day after vaccination with vaccines for which only one vaccination is intended (currently Johnson&Johnson); the vaccination may have taken place a maximum of 270 days previously or
  • vaccination, provided that a positive molecular biological test for SARS-CoV-2 is available at least 21 days prior to vaccination or proof of neutralising antibodies is available prior to vaccination; vaccination may have taken place no more than 360 days previously or
  • NEW: further vaccination, in which case a maximum of 360 days may have elapsed and at least 120 days must have elapsed between this vaccination and one of the above-mentioned vaccinations.

"Proof of Past Infection" (only with proof of recovery, medical confirmation): A passed infection with Sars-Cov-2 alows the entry for six months after recovery. Evidence of neutralising antibodies counts for three months from the date of testing.

If none of these proofs can be presented, a test must be done immediately, in any case at least within 24 hours.

Booking or cancellation
Until further notice, we have adjusted the cancellation policy to the current situation. If the Covid 19 situation will cause local or personal travel restrictions (such as quarantine or entry ban), there will be no cancellation fees until the day of arrival.
Note: We have implemented new cancellation/modification policies to provide our guests with increased flexibility. Guests requesting refunds of any kind (i.e. cash or credit voucher) may take up to 30 days from the date of cancellation to be processed.

Third party bookings: For guests who booked through a travel agent, online booking platform or other third parties, please contact your booking provider directly for assistance.


Safe hospitality in the Alpinresort
As with our everyday lives, there are certain new rules. This includes social distancing, wearing mouth-nose protection in certain areas and increased hygiene measures in front of and behind the scenes. These regulations are now fixed for the catering trade, including the Alpinresort restaurants. The specifications for accommodation and leisure activities (sports, fitness, wellness) are in the making. At the Alpinresort we are in the process of integrating all measures. As soon as we know all the details and have coordinated everything, we will inform our guests by newsletter and via our social media channels. Until then, we ask you to use the official website Austrian National Tourist Office.

Check-in Reception
At the reception, we have separated the check-in and check-out areas in order to keep a better distance and to be able to look after you as best as possible.

Mouth-nose protection
We would be very grateful if you bring your own mouth-nose mask with you. Of course we also have masks for you at the reception. Washing machines, dryers and irons are available in the washroom for washing the masks brought with you.

Hygiene in the rooms
Our housekeeping staff work with steam cleaning devices and with cleaning agents containing disinfectants. The laundry is washed according to strict hygiene regulations by a professional company.

We are very pleased that we can continue to offer you the usual variety at the buffet and creativity from the kitchen in compliance with the new requirements. To avoid queueing at the buffet and too little seating in the restaurant we can offer you two sittings:
• Are you an early bird and like to have breakfast between 7:30 am and 8 am?
• Or do you prefer to exercise or sleep in the morning and don't start your breakfast until 9:00 am?
• Do you usually like to have dinner early? Then we expect your arrival in the restaurant between 6.30pm and 6.45pm.
• Or you enjoy fitness, sport or wellness and would rather not have dinner until after 8:15 p.m.

Regulations regarding meal times come into force, as soon as we can no longer maintain minimum distances, ie from a capacity occupation of approx. 75%. It is therefore not necessary to register in advance.

Lunch will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a new combination of buffet, prepared dishes and a new salad buffet. We will keep more space available in the restaurant so that the social distancing rules can be observed. Coffee and Cake buffet is from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Wellness area & spa
You can enjoy our massage and cosmetics offer as usual in compliance with the new hygiene and safety regulations.
Our open wellness area offers a lot of space and is open in compliance with the minimum distance and the maximum permitted number of people as well as the official requirements.
As of July 1st, there is no obligation to keep the minimum distance to other people.Sauna infusions are currently permitted again.
We continue to offer the vital buffet in the sauna world in compliance with the new hygiene and safety rules.

Activity program
The activity program takes place in small groups in compliance with the minimum distance and the maximum permitted number of people, as well as the official requirements.

Hygiene measures
Our cleaning and disinfection plan was coordinated to meet all of the current hygiene guidelines of the Austrian Hotel Association.
• Disinfection stands are distributed throughout the house.
• The cleaning is carried out with steam cleaning devices which produce steam at a temperature of 180 °.
• All rooms are disinfected regularly.
• All door handles are regularly disinfected.
• All cleaning agents contain disinfectants.
